Also: If I'm not mistaken the indev mapgen generates Ravines
You can change the mapgen by changing mg_name = v6 to mg_name = indev in map_meta.txt

Nope, only v7 does.

Yep but they're not underground ravines, my 'fissure' mod creates underground fissures that sometimes resemble ravines, one of those 2 mods might do what you want.

Ha funny poll. My fissure mod with parameter TRY = 47 will do amazing ravines, better than MC.

Use that plus my chasm mod, they work well together:
