FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

I want to request a mod that would give obsidian the properties such as to craft a pickaxe, shovel, sword, etc....
Because so far, all it is is a decorative object and can make a knife. So please, could someone work on something like this!!!???

If this is done, I think that obsidian tools should be slow, somewhere between stone and iron, but be very durable.

Why all you need sooooo plenty of items? Default wooden/steel/mese tools (+ maybe diamond) are ok. By creating new material you don't have to create %newmaterial%_pickaxe/axe/etc

I think I may try to implement obsidian into, for say, the "more chests" mod or the "Nuke" mod. Obsidian nukes and obsidian chests d ^^ b

Yeah, and maybe make obsidian glass for the same use. Obsidian doors, obsidian signs :3

Already did the obsidian chest, testing it now, then an obsidian nuke, mwahaha!!!
