Warfare mod,
Posted: Sat Jul 20, 2013 00:04I think there should be a Warfare mod for Minetest. An all-around warfare mod. I have a basic idea in mind, which involves bits inspired by ICBM from Minecraft(missiles, railguns, etc) and with military vehicles(tanks, aircraft, helicopters,). I know there is a gun mod already, but I would like something a bit larger than just guns. I have no programming skills at all, so can anyone out there create a Warfare mod for Minetest? I think there should be three main parts.
-Guns, which are OBVIOUSLY the basics of warfare. Different kinds of guns(RPGs, Assault Rifles, SMGs, rifles, etc.)
- Military vehicles. Specifically, tanks, planes, and helicopters. Militant boats as well(Aircraft Carriers, Destroyers, cruisers, etc.).
-Bombs. Hand grenades, dynamite, various types of missiles (nuclear, thermobaric, cruise missiles, ect.) There should be bombs compatible with the aircraft, so you can make Bombers.
- Other, smaller pieces, such as AA guns, artillery, and other essential things that don't fit in the three categories above.
I also have 0 design skills, so I can't design pictures.
This mod would be useful for PvP, destroying your world, and other kinds of stuff. Also, if there are mods that have the basic layout of the points above, list them. I don't think there are any, except maybe the gun mod. I think maybe the Frames and Motors in the Technic mod for Minetest might make good vehicles, but they look kinda crappy, and they need mesecons in order to run.
