FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Any idea why this tree refuses to grow? Tried sans, desertsand, dirt, next to water but nothing seems to solve the problem.

Dont need answer anymore, it finally grew. :)

I have had mine in grass, but then I figured out it would grow in sand/desert sand.
