You can use the Print Screen key to take screenshots, or there is a key in Minetest (F12?) which saves a screenshot to bin/screenshot-1.png

Use a recorder like bandicam (windows) for filming.

Yes, there is this mod above and its possible to make something like a vtech action cam where you can set it to record and then play back footage later, keep in mind it would stop after the you leave the world or your server shuts down,

yes, I intend to make it possible to make the recordings permanent.
