when i play minetest with the following mods: (the ones that are awesome i redcrab & other servers, that i wanted)
moreores-master, moreblocks-master, and farming-master, they all give the error failed to laod &run. we fixed the naming conventios, and now its givving me a new error. i have version 0.4.4 of minetest, are these mods not compatable with ubuntu 0.4.4?

You did not follow the naming convetion for mods: https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?id=6450
The topic name of the moreblocks mod is "[Mod] More Blocks [moreblocks]", so you have to name the folder "moreblocks" (as you can see in the second []).
