Okay, sorry guys, but d'you think you can help me? i got VanessaE's mod for furniture (0.4.4) but IT WONT RUN! it just treats it like its not there. i type in /mods and it does not show up. whats the issue here?

Did you rename this folder: tonyka-minetest-mods-master ?

In that case it shouldn't work.

You only need the folder named: 3dforniture extracted in your mods folder.


Edit: Typo.

You should update to the latest development version of 0.4.7 by either sfan5, Blockmen, or Fess. You will not regret it.

I've a zip named: 3d_furniture

In it is this folder: tonyka-minetest-mods-master

In the tonyka-minetest-mods-master folder are:
- 3dforniture (a folder containing the actual mod)
- 3D Forniture Craffting Gide (a folder with a crafting guide)
- a README file

When I extract 3d_furniture, I'll get a folder in minetest/mods, called tonyka-minetest-mods-master. It's not a modpack and 3D Forniture Craffting Gide isn't a working mod, so it won't work.

To get it to work you only need the extracted 3dforniture folder in you minetest/mods


I just uploaded the (single) 3dforniture mod:

i got the foulder to work, but i think theres something wrong with a naming convention.

If you mentioned my name + "furniture" one would assume you're actually talking about Home Decor mod. The furniture mod by itself is Tonyka's, not mine, and must be named exactly, "3dforniture" (yes, with an 'o'). If it's Home Decor, it must be named exactly "homedecor".

Either way, it goes in your mods folder, but if you're using 0.4.4, you can't use Home Decor. It depends on a couple of features that are not present in that version of Minetest.
