bubblegumGPS now shows bones and spawns you at the last H marker when you die - http://1337318.zymichost.com/bubblegumgps.tar.gz is updated

scuba doesn't happen unless you have a tank in inventory (empty or full) - http://1337318.zymichost.com/scuba.tar.gz is updated

i wanted a creeper bad but entities have static errors, so i made a boomshroom - http://1337318.zymichost.com/boomshroom.tar.gz

I hope you don't mind, I have put the bubblegumgps on Github, and I am working on improving things, eg textures.
EDIT: Is CC-By-Sa a fine license? You have to set one, otherwise I am not legally allowed to distribute the mod.

Actually, I have a better idea thanreleasing my own version.
HERE is a download to my version, the main differences are:
  • Re-positioned to be less intrusive
  • Improved, more awesome textures
  • Uses a settings.txt to switch the death marking thing and the spawn at H marker thing on and off.
  • The nodes mostly have signlike drawtype.

Please do use this, I put some effort into making the changes!

Hey! great job on the remake! is it still transparent?

THE LICENSE FOR ALL MY MODS IS ALWAYS WTFPL so feel free to mod it up and hack it any way you want it.

Oh, i finally found the error where the waypoints didn't get deleted right (difference between the pos at create versus the pos at digging). Updated.

And boomshroom just got a desert version, also updated. A few bug fixes, no longer 'buildable-to', added sweet creeper sounds, and "never punch a boomshroom". - i assume the creeper sounds are copyrighted so let's call this version a 'preview' to indicate they are temporary and will be changed later

stonechests seashell chest auto-place is fixed (wtf was i thinking saying 'shells:shell' string length is 5 lol)

bubblegumGPS TODO list if somebody wants to accellerate theirs - go get 'em dan! :P

show other players in the hud - pop the players.png in the hud where the other players are (not a waypoint) - be sure to watch the hud id's and not forget to remove whatever is put in

waypoint ownership - right now, the waypoints are game-wide, everyone can see and mess with everyone else's markers

and finally, the moving map - if i knew how to put pixes in an image with lua, and show just a portion of an image, i would have already done it lol - probably just around the players, like tracks, or maybe have actual tracks of dots
