FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

i was looking at the recipes for my mod (which uses crafter as its a dependency) and some of them do not work. the ones that don't work are the ones that require custom crafting types that are defined by the crafter mod, the grids for the recipes are empty but the guide still displays the name of the item. Is there anything i can do to solve this?
