Which version of Minetest are you using? Use Xubuntu n00b. Try pasting the last 5000 lines of debug.txt . Did you rename the folder?

If all else fails, kindly throw your computer off the nearest 50 storey skyscraper.

EDIT: because I can't find a nice little easy to use program that could output a nice little texture.png, this thing is on hold. I need help figuring out how to texturize this mesh in the same way the character.png is texturized. This is to make sure that the textures will actually load in-game. Blender is way too complicated for me, and sproxel does not output a texture.png
