Well, the are meant to be fast. If they'll be slow, mobs will dodge them :)
What damage do bullets cause? How many hits do I need to kill DM or player?

What's the difference between wooden and iron gun?

I was playing around with the damage system and it looks like the mobs from the animal mod all die with 1 hit, however they dont drop anything.
Im not sure how much damage they do in a PvP battle, Ill test that out later.
Iron guns will have more durability than the wooden ones.

Can you please add a direct link to ompldr? Packed in zip or tar.gz if you don't mind. Mediafire works very strangely and not all the servers have unrar.

I can't get iron gun, everything else is ok. Then I put everything to craft iron gun, I get nothing in the output. Please check the recipe.

I noticed that among the many changes in ItemDef, there was the ability for tools to have on_use callbacks. Perhaps guns can be tools instead of craft items?

just a quick idea how about wooden bullets or mese bullets i find it hard to find steel in 0.4 and easyer to find mese
