These are some of the newest mods. I don't know what you are talking about.

Any particular reason you are quoting me?

Shamelessly? You mean people shamelessly plugging their mod into the topic?
*Edit* Impending thread derailment.

Adding new node's, weapons/tools or slightly modifying an existing mod just doesn't create that much attention anymore. Therefor most just create these simple mods for themselves, no point re-inventing the wheal. Exhausted ideas, any mod worth releasing you have to create something ground breaking or completely original.
Also keep in mind some only use minetest as a stepping stone to programing then move onto work related projects. Others get bored and leave or if like myself have a family and other commitments to attend to. However there is alot new members who attempt a mod or two every now and then.

Kind of, new mods are only good if they introduce a really great new concept(take stu's mods for example), or a good idea.D0431791 wrote:It is because of the restrictions in Minetest features.

No hack work. Also, a 4x4 and a 5x5 crafting table would be a nice addition to minetest_game.philipbenr wrote:Enke wrote:I think a good engine change would be the ability to create our own crafting systems.
I soooooooo agree.

The crafting grid is in lua: doesn't require an engine change.

No.
A crafting system can be done in Lua, though, so you dont need any engine features for that.

Well, won't that be a source of lag for the game?
