Just thought of a quick idea for a mod. This adds coloured stone and cobble to your minetest game and includes a coloured stone block for each dye. They are made with stone above a dye of your choice.



CRAFTING

(Can be made with all dye colours).

License: WTFPL for stone texture.

Remember to leave some feedback or thoughts.

Is this allowed? Chaning color of a texture and publish it as WTFPL?

Whatever, how about adding a Pain troller? </Ad>

I think it is, if its proven not to be, i'll change them. I looked here https://github.com/minetest/minetest_ga ... ME.txt#L31 to see the license status of the original textures stone is under WTFPL and i believe cobble is to. If its possible, let me know if it isn't allowed, thanks. I have removed the download just in case.

The stone is fine. The cobble, though, I have no idea what license it is under even after googling.

I found out that it is under CC BY-SA 3.0 after going back to the cobbles original source (G4JC's almost minecraft texture pack).

I've removed the cobble, to be honest I think the stone looks better and is a better use for cobble overall.

The original texture for stone was WTFPL and the code is presumably the same (I did it myself). So im guessing its all WTFPL.

The texture files need to be renamed in order to work with my colormachine. A naming schem like clstone_stone_COLOR.png would be most convenient. Even though this mod is pretty simple, it does add nice and helpful blocks.

I'll attach a file where I did the necessary changes and removed the thumbnail file.
