Yea, also some servers long descriptions(with list of mods, etc) are scretched to the next line, like other server. And if you try to login on to this line this bag also appears, and starts looping until you clear settings, strange behaviour.

These errors are due to the new formspec-based menu.
There are errors everywhere. I can confirm also that the Configure World screen is bugged, and the Delete World button fails in more often than not. Also, the Create World dialog sometimes fails.

Edit: I wonder if this formspec based main menu is worth all these hassles.

The link above leads to an error than can occur with bump mapping enabled.

How is the bump mapping feature working for you, Fess?

I noticed that in this build, the public server list does not come up when the lua menu is used.

For once I can't blame RBA for making a broken feature. Sapier also managed to break 99% of mods using formspec because of this main menu.

I tested bump mapping in PilzAdam's and sfan5's builds, but only inventory icons react in them. In your builds, both inventory icons and in-game nodes react (but they end up being black.) I don't know what is going on. ShadowNinja made a couple of commits regarding vectors recently, but I am not sure of what they do.

The lua menu is much more stable now and the public server list works again. Now should be a good time to make a new build.

Is midnightwrath in the mood to make another build? Very important changes were made to Minetest lately (version protocol change and item limit fix.)

It looks like mwr compiled the build before the recent fixes to the lua menu. Does he know that his builds don't have minetest_game included with them? Of course, the recent fixes of lighting errors caused by lava and rotated nodes are very good things to have, and are included in the build. The item limit fix is also included in the build.

I think this should be listed on the download page of the main website, as it allows people to use a 64 BIT VERSION instead of the SLOWER 32 BIT VERSION.

Fess should create a new topic where all the download links are in the first post. Then it can be stickied and linked from the main page.

Also, you say that 32 bit is slower, has anyone actually benchmarked it yet?

Well, I run Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and I don't feel such a big speed-increase. But I just walked around in the world and didn't copy my singleplayer world into the 64-bit build to try it out there...

Part of the reason may be that some 64-bit computers gain more from 64-bit builds than others (my computer certainly gains from them.) One thing you should know is that in order to use some of the HD texture packs, you must have a 64-bit build and more than 4GB of RAM (my computer has 4GB of RAM, but my video card has 2GB of RAM.)

Xonotic has a script that can be used to update the game to the latest autobuild. I think it would be very convenient for everyone here if Minetest had something similar.

It uses rsync to do that, and it's probably possible.

Would Fess or Midnightwrath be willing to make a new build soon? Very important menu fixes were added to Minetest recently.
