MapGen V7- Only stone? [solved]
I just tried Mapgen Version 7 and I got nothing but stone, even when flying in Creative for ages. I think this is pointless because you can't make pickaxes or anything. Say what you think.

Use PilzTest (by PilzAdam) or Mind-Mi (by me, see my github), which are games compatible with MGv7.
I made a few (a lot of?) mods for minetest: here is a list.

Just wanted to interject here and say, that mgen7 does look really nice. I have no idea how you guys manage to do that, but at it's current pace it will be quite amazing.

Is the Mapgen v7 still unreleased in version 0.4.9? biomes compatible with v7 aren't provided in the regular distribution? If the answer is no, can they be installed as mod just as snow mod gives support for v7?

I noticed it is in the TODO list to add the biomes, then the logical questions are:
* Any estimation when they will be included?
* Can they be found elsewhere in the maintime?

To experience v7, use PilzAdam's Nodetopia game, or one of the lua mapgens
The biomes will be included when someone feels like. =P

In Freeminer, mapgen v7 has biomes in it.
