use_texture_alpha bug?

an issue im having with both stainedglass and colouredglass, whenever set on/against water with on a big enough area, i get this:

making a dome underwater with those you get the impression parts of the dome isn't there :/

This is known, and its the reason why ice in minetest_game isnt transparent yet.

Im guessing because water and texture_alpha work differently?
