Boredom again...
So I compiled together a minetest bundle for Linux (tested on Ubuntu). It contains minetest daily unstable that was fetched and compiled (run in place) on February 12th of 2012 as well as a number of mods.

To get worldedit to work, go to the bin/ folder and edit the weperms.txt file to include your player name.

Well darn, I don't have a local copy. Might have to get around to doing another bundle. However don't expect it for a few days.
