Yeh because the song is auto tuned...... like most of the songs nowadays...And besides that part is by a female so I did it very high ;-) And I used my really bad microphone so you would probably hear alot of crackling and static. I'll fix it later.

He is not trolling, he's just another one of those arrogant people, who, despite the phrase "Don't judge a book by it's cover", judge a forum post by the title. Anyway, hopefully we can make it amazing, and he'll actually spend his own time, which he evidently will when it's uploaded, watching it and then he'll have is mind blown.

Then, I want to point out that you are more likely to fail. And I have my reasons for having such an opinion.
(But then, I'm not saying it's totally meaningless to make a music video, is it? You'd better make it. And make it as good as you can. You will not impress nomahakon, i think, neither you will impress me, but you will produce something associated with minetest, which is always good. carry on! may the force be with you.)

I think people should sing there own minetest songs, not have 1 person sing all the songs. We should have a youtube channel specficlly for minetest songs.

Using of copyrighted material (even it's a short sequence of the score) is very problematic and can be very expensive for the distributors and the programmers of the software. So it MUST be free music and played from musicians there are not in a collecting society like the GEMA.

As example, if the software is distributed in Germany you must prove that the musician is not in a collecting society connected with the GEMA (as the RIAA in the USA), or you must pay for the rights to use the music. (German musicans must play this himself, if there use there own music in the internet, in movies or in games, if there member of the GEMA!) So it is very expensive to set a music under a CC-Licence for GEMA members...
And for the producers of software who uses the music. (This is also the reason, that you can't see movies with popular music in the German Youtube.)

For the game we need free music (open source licence) from free musicians (not GEMA members with full names and known address for proving of the non-membership)...
