Climbing a Mount Meru on a survival server takes some time but keeping it in memory for a picture took several attempts. There are not many resources up there, except for my bones scattered in several places. I got killed more often for hitting Sicminds property, before the server would tell me to be carefull, than by falling though. Lag or slow internet is deadly on Landrush server.

This is the mount to about 700 meters hight. Couldn't get any higher for fear of getting banned.

We already complained about that. Hope that it will get unclaimed soon. Anyway, good height you reached there :3 When Nisi and me tried it, we only reached 400 or 600 before we died from death and didn't had the resources to try again. (That was before it got claimed)

Edit:

In this case, you could have talked to Nisi or Brandon (if online) , so that they could unban you if you should get accidently banned up there.

Luckily I had made some steps and tunnels before the claims got so many. You can reach almost 700 now quite easily without any pillar jumping as I added some more help today. Just look for the odd cobblestone marking the difficult parts. As some of my builds are now part of somebody else's claims, I have put up claims to protect my other builds ... so I added to the claiming mess :-(
Sadly my lost building is only framework and not verry pretty as is. Hopefully I will have time to finish the other projects, just need to drag more stuff up there.

twoelk, thanks for the amazing screenshots, i like to see other people's screenshots of my mods because the worlds are fresh and new to me, i like to see different texture packs too and how it looks with default textures. The trees are epic and it's good to see some spawned on Meru. Perhaps you could try climbing the new 2km Meru sometime ha.

Nice effect. One can see that it is quite very simple at the moment, but it adds a bit more of atmospheric feeling to the gameplay especially in that wastelands mod (I would love that lens flare when traveling through hot desert / wasteland, slowly getting thirsty and only the sun and me x) ). However, is it also behaving correct when you are partial behind tree leaves or something?

It was just a quick try to add it, to be shown correct it needs a lot of work. Also i dont know if its possible to solve the mentioned point (trees, etc).

I was up all night squeezing paragen into MGV7 and found this jungle swamp island next to an underwater ravine. MGV7 has a lot of what i call 'paddling pools', large areas of 1m deep water which make good swamps.

Lor599 and I made a ski resort on the redcarb server. There aren't snow blocks either, so that would probably be the most white wool you have ever seen in one place. :P

Lol yeah i know, i had to make my own snow blocks, and slope blocks and multiple-plane slope blocks. The lift cables are driving me mad because of the line they have to follow versus the nodebox ability - Now i find out the static error is still there for entities and the chairlift will have to pass from node to entity when you get on, then back to node when you leave it - Meh, i will get there eventually - Ski's like a dream though except for the stupid ignore/loading glitch if you go too fast or jump+sideways slide to stop across a unloaded chunk (the even worse ignore problem)

Well done. When I saw those with the corner of my eye, I thought they're from MineCraft for a moment.

Myself, I'm working on adding roads to my Structures mod. Lots of coding and hard work, but I seem to be getting somewhere.
