How to set privs in singleplayer?

by Rhys » Sat Oct 05, 2013 15:50

Title says it all. Basically, I want to set privs without doing /grant singleplayer all. I don't want to add any new privs or anything.

Chat command: /grant singleplayer all

OR

Chat command: /grant singleplayer (name of priv)

OR

Editing text file in world/auth.txt

OR

Set default privs in minetest.conf

Or do you mean defining a new priv?

I don't know if it solves the problem, but it looks like your issue:

In the world folder, eg.
Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.
Code: Select all
/minetest-folder/worlds/name_of_world/auth.txt

Rhys, I can reproduce your problem with default_privs on 0.4.7.
But on (git) master, default_privs works.
You could use this version instead.

It seems you have found a bug which has been fixed now. Strangely, I can’t anything about default_privs on the issue tracker.
I'm creating MineClone 2, a Minecraft clone for Minetest.
I made the Help modpack, adding in-game help to Minetest.
