trubiling issies
Me and some friends have been playing for a wile now and we cant figure out how to craft items.

Devin, you need to be more descriptive. What are you trying to craft and what with?
If you have spawned in the world with nothing in the inventory, you need to make some tools.
As you can't punch stone, go and punch a tree to get wood. With the wood you make wooden planks. From a wooden plank you can make sticks. Finally you can create a wooden pick axe to mine stone.

ok i have look and it does help a lot but theres one more question, how do u open the area to craft the items?

We have a new wiki on wiki.minetest.net. Please refer to this instead.
On http://wiki.minetest.net/Crafting you see a totally revised version of the crafting page; you find much useful and detailed information there. Read this and you become a crafting expert. xD

A: Because there is no sticky thread which links to the FAQ.

this is why there needs to be a GUIDE (there is one posted around here somewhere) on the wiki.
