Version 0.4.7-dev is a serious problem.

I installed the 0.4.7 to see ~ are about 4 months ago (I used of the installer).
It seems to me that 80% of good servers do not accept my version. Whenever 0.4.7-dev is shown in the title of the server.
Not like that.
Someone explain to me how to tidy it?
I'll have to install and uninstall minetest continuously?

Well, its the decision of server owners to run a dev build, we cant really do anything about it.

Nope, Uninstall once, get the zipped version and unpack it in a folder, override it everytime a ne version comes or if you want to update. Create a shortcut on your desktop to the minetest.exe (if using windows)

This way is your shortcut always valid and you don't need to install and uninstall everytime.
