Minechat?
Is there an app that you can download on your phone that allows you to chat on the servers and not actually play? Its athing on MC i think

IRC = Internet Relay Chat. Take the chat portion of Minetest, isolate it, and give some nicer features. That's a simple description. At least 7 servers use IRC.

If you're on android, simplechat is an *okay* client. For my low RAM phone, navigating away from the app will oom-kill it. However, most modern phones can handle it

I use Rice Beta. I tried simplechat, but it sucks.
(Disconnections, no reconnections)
The only problem with Rice is that it does not auto join channels. But if you disconnect and then reconnect, it keeps the channels open.
