End of World Bug...

by TenPlus1 » Sun Apr 06, 2014 13:58

On server when a user reaches the edge of the known world, namely 30,927.2 in either direction, the server seems to lagg constantly then just stalls... I've tried this in standalone and it doesnt seem to bug out like it does on server... any ideas ?

Known bug - was supposedly fixed. Try with newer client.

See: https://github.com/minetest/minetest/issues/228

EDIT: *facepalm* Yes, I forgot that rendering is client-side =/

7:42 PM - Bauglio: I think if you go to staples you could steal firmware from a fax machine that would run better than win10 does on any platform
7:42 PM - Bauglio: so fudge the stable build
7:43 PM - Bauglio: get the staple build

Rendering glitches have nothing to do with the server.
