How do Install Mods?

OKay...I know how to install mods, but some of them can't "load or run"....why? Also how can I fix this?

BTW, this isn't instant chat. It's a forum. It is best practice to use the edit button if you are the last person who posted, and that wasn't longer than an hour ago :P

It is probably best to make your own mod first, or contribute to an existing mod. Have a look at dev.Minetest.net

Okay...done. So...how exactly do I make a mod? I know the fundements and what to do...just need to know about the game editor and stuff.

Use parts from existing mods, for example the default:
