When looking at mountains the sky turns light grey, then as you look inwards towards the mountain's center it gradually darkens and then turns black.

couldn't attach pngs to this so I just put the stuff on my Google drive

Try some nice mapgen like v6 or paragen, watershed.
I noticed a bug like this too in the v7.

That is not a bug, as it is due to the lighting system we use.

Not a bug, that happens too even you go underground put gravel in your body.
