Interesting idea, although as it stands your code will simply remove the node without actually giving the node drop to the player. Also, with your mention of chests and locked doors, have you seen my lockpicks mod by any chance? There is a modest example of how to handle privileges and tool capabilities. Also, I don't think people would be especially keen on you destroying a chest full of ingots....
