I might have found a bug, when I try and run this mod with the moreblocks I get a ModError: failed to load and run /.minetest/mods/homedecor_modpack/building_blocks/init.lua
when I have the moreblocks mod turned off it runs just fine. Should moreblocks still be listed as a recommendation?

Update your copy of moreblocks. Yours is outdated.

A few updates today - recipes added for standing lamps, books, skylight slopes, and more. Inventory images added for standing lamps, coat tree, and a number of other items also. See commit log and crafting guide for details.

Not yet. That requires the mesh draw type that RealBadAngel is working on. A model is easily made, but it can't be properly-textured until then.

And what of the other nodeboxes of this modpack? Will they become meshes as well?

Some might, it depends on which ones would benefit the most, how soon the drawtype becomes available (and in particular, when relative to the next stable release of Minetest), and how lazy I and other coders on this project are. ;-)

The same holds true for my other mods, where applicable.

I need a 'per-nodebox' texturizing for that, but a mesh drawtype would be stylish (not sure it would be easier to use than nodebox).

A small update: The wrought iron fences (the second type, with the curly shapes) have corner pieces now. Also, the Japanese paper/wood wall now has a companion door (slides to the left to open). The selection box on the door is set to cover both the door and the doorway to remind the user that the door does still occupy that space when open (translation: even I got tripped up by that a couple of times ;-) ).

Just pushed a bugfix for the recipes for the iron/steel chain links, to make them behave properly according to the presence of Glooptest. Thanks to argyle for catching this one.

I got fed up with Wikia's user interface and the spammers that kept coming in (with no clear way to delete or block them), so moved the page content to my website instead, ages ago:

Sort of need brass blocks texture as craftable stairs and modded by circular saw. Any chance that it can be?

Sure, that's easily done, but the brass block (at least the one seen in Dreambuilder) is actually provided by the Technic mod, so such a change would be best made there.

Im new so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong area. I was wondering how to install this mod pack. I have extracted the files to <install directory>\mods and added load_mod_homedecor to the world.mt file but upon starting a server or single player mode it doesnt recognize it as existing. I have Mesecons installed and it's working ok.

EDIT: I got it working. I had to enable them via the main menu.

Updates - Some new things by jp: a new type of wood-and-glass door, similar to the "fancy" one but with a smaller, clear glass insert, a wrought-iron lantern like the kind that some homes have as a porch light has been added, and the small/thin candle has been re-done as a short candle with plantlike draw type.

Also, ovens got better front-side imagery (particularly noticeable on the "active" variants) and some minor tweaks have been made to the models and selection boxes for the type-2 wrought iron fences and their corner pieces.

Recipes for the new door and lamp will follow later.

Hello, I just want to say that this is an amazing mod pack! It is probably one of my favorites! But I have a request. The doors do not seem to face each other when I put them down together. I would really like it if you could fix this. Here is an example of what I'm talking about.



I don't know if it does this with the other doors that come in your modpack.
Other than that, your modpack is flawless and amazing!
