[Mod] Spleef minigame [spleef]

Spleef minigame

Hi everyone !

This mod allows you to generate spleef arenas with to-the-top teleporters and a lava/water pool.
You can set the number of levels, the space between them and their width.
The teleporter moves the players to the top of the active spleef on right click.
You can either make rectangular(default) or circular levels.

The mod is now usable with spleef_arena wich adds :
  • dirt
  • sand
  • desert (desert sand)
  • glass
  • gravel
  • leaves
as usable blocs for the arena if installed.
Those blocs can only be destroyed with the spleef stick.

Hope you'll enjoy this mod :D

HOWTO : /spleef undo | do <nodename> <size> <nlevels> <space> [square|circle] [water|lava]
  • undo : restore the nodes changed by the latest arena (clean up after game or revert accidental griefing)
  • do : generate arena with following parameters (in front right of you)
  • nodename : snow (from this mod) or one from spleef_arena
  • size : set the area width (min 3)
  • nlevels : set the number of levels
  • space : set the space between two levels
  • [square|circle] : make rectangular or circular levels (optional)
  • [water|lava] : create a water/lava pool (optional, [square|circle] must then be set)
/!\ The mod does not check for area protections. Be careful were you spawn the areas to avoid griefing !

Depends : default (spleef_arena)
Licence : lgpl 2.1
Download : https://github.com/indriApollo/spleef/a ... master.zip
Installation: Unzip the file and rename it to "spleef". Then move it to the mod directory.

The kids were watching a Stampy video recently showing spleef. It was pretty neat. Under the snow was lava. Been thinking about making a similar arena.

indoriApollo can you make some all minigame mods plzzz make it plzzz becuse ill a need some make it the better minigame and in game name is a updated whit AgnetHerobrine i like it that name !!!

I think that he is trying to ask you to make more mini-games...and that he has a new in-game name. :P

I would be interested. That mod is nice since the spleef stick breaks the blocks immediately. But it lacks the creation of the arena, which yours does nicely.

  • I've added usability with spleef_arena
  • I reworked the circle algorithm
  • I've added water and lava pools

Another nice addition would be the ability to generate a chest full of spleef sticks.

And the option to have walls around the arena.

With walll around will be spleef arena too dark I think.

Maybe you can add some spleef npcs for people which do not have internet connection

If you want walls you can build them yourself and recreate an arena after each round on the same place.
That's how I intended my mod :)

As for a npc, I have no plans to add one, but someone could do it using the npc framework (viewtopic.php?id=7321)

I made custom textures for the spleef teleporter and changed the undo functions (not compatible with previous version). I also fixed a bug that would crash the server if no liquid was specified, default is now water (keeping it safe) :D
