As long as there's no protection, not beeing on the server list might be best.

There are now mobs, and they can be killed. For a regular supply of ores, mobs are far too rare on the unternull server. No chance of ever building something using those decorative copper block nodes.

By the way. I made a separate thread for the Unter Null server.

@ Sokomine
You might be right. But on the other hand that makes metals actually valuable on this server. And maybe the mobtraps get better with time, so you don't need to go for hunting, you could just harvest copper. I think it is to early to tell what will happen. And everything is an experiment on those server, don't expect it to be working ;)

That copper block has a very nice texture. I'd like to build something with it, but I'm afraid I wouldn't get enough copper even on this server, let alone the unter null one.

Poor mobs :-) Instead of beeing killed by a player, they're supposed to be "born", run into a trap, and "harvested".

Since it is on the public server list things got quite messy. But the intention was do have an experimental server, and that's what it is.

At the moment i have Toki Pona translation enabled. . .

There are now two experimental mods.
1. When walking over stone it sometimes turns into rock. I added this because all the new players could not find any rocks. An interesting side effect it that the island at spawn is shrinking now.
2. You respawn in an area +-128 nodes around spawn. However seems that even with force loading it does not work as expected.

Thanks to Argos fork of the minetest mapper I was now able to create a full map of the Server. Also a heightmap that shows the vast mountain ranges in the north-east.
