Thanks for the bunny update Exeterdad, has been added to mobs redo and works fine :) can be tamed with 4 carrots from farming redo or farming plus :)

Why do mobs always look so bright and high contrasty? Especially sheep, since they are white.

Entities don't have the shading.

Fact: Minetest didn't used to have shaded nodes and wielditems.

Texture authors should implement shading directly in the texture, currently the engine doesn't do it for them.

2 nuclear reactors and a few solar panels is just enough to power 6 force field generators and make this:

Edit: to power it at night, I had to make 2 additional reactors!

Where can I find the source code?

Nowhere .. i will it share when it is on a playable level.
Now i have only a few Deco's .. there are many things to do- its only a preprepre Alpha.
And the code is a big chrüsimüsi.

I will use TenPlus Mobs...
Now there are bunnys... and so i need some corn for a "Polenta"
My foodsystem is a fork of the original farmingmod.. so i have to figur it out how the api draws only the corn in visual scale 2.0
But now it works... it looks not nice but for the moment im satisfied.. i mine ..it does not look like a parrot or a car.

Could you add long, straight dusty streets which are a little bit higher than the usual ground?

I'll see what can be done.
but i dont know when and if i finish this project...
I work on it until i lose the fun. ;)

No, it's not Perlin Noise. I only used its linear interpolation codes :)

I've been working on building a castle. It's nowhere near complete yet, but I've done a lot of work on the two guard towers and the drawbridges. The moat needs to be extended so it's an actual moat, but it's a start.

Not bad! I think a roof on each of those towers would be a good idea to make it look even better :)

Yes it does, it's a great way to non-random terrain like that one.
Changing one number or adding a x or y variable to the noise formula changes the complete terrain, it's amazing.

After two years or so i decided to see if my old estate still existed on VanessaE's creative server. Amazingly it still stands well most of it anyway. Obviously it was an abandoned WIP, as i walked around the memories of plans i had for other sub buildings came back to me. Not looking to go back and finish the job but was kinda cool to be there again after such a long time.

Likewise, yeah still browsed through every now and then for updates and such. Although was learning another language for a while to make homebrews for a retro console. Nothing significant enough to share haha.

Thought i would break out some my old unfinished minetest mods and it sorta sparked the fire again :). Might jump on soon and give the estate a revamp, definitely has room for improvement.

But i saw it just one single time .. i think it was a accident... hope so :D

Do you still have the world? can you tell us the seed?

Nope sorry... i'm testing the biomes and i open a lot of worlds with different seeds.. and i delete allways the old world when i open a new.
The world have names like " wetrwrtwtqwtqtqetqetqtqtqtqtqtqtqt" and seeds like 4525262466

You should take your screenshots with the f5 menu open, that way you can always tell where it was and what the seed is.

Actually, I wonder if it would be useful for screenshots to contain exif data containing the cords and seed numbers? A bunch of useful stuff could be stored there automagically.
