Pine sapling, bees, ants

Hi,
1.) I'm trying to grow Pine sapling and Pine Sapling but nothing is happening, I don't know any more what to do... I tried wet dirt and regular dirt but it's just not growing...

2.) also want to have Bee Hives but can't find any NET nor cotton for catching the bees... any idea how to do that ... the same applies for Ants... never saw any... are they enabled ? and if yes where I can find them and how do I catch them please ?

Hi and welcome to Minetest ! (It's your first post :p)

The pine sapling just needs put on dirt, you need to wait a certain amount of time because it's a "random" counter...
For bees, it depends your mobs mod, if you use "mobs redo" bees spawn on group:flowers, so be patient or tweak the spawn code of bee.lua :)

Do you play in a local server ? or solo ? => Could you give us your mods list ?
Or on a only server ? => Could you give us the server name ?

I'm playing on free pizza server, but somehow it started growing right after i planted it on another location. The dirt was the same though so i dont know what was the problem. But it works now, thanks.

The bees seem to be from the bees mod.
