Water Problems

by Menche » Sun Sep 25, 2011 04:50

I was excavating an underwater base and accidentally knocked a single hole in the ceiling. Plugging it didn't cause the water to go away and as i filled source blocks in with dirt, the water spread across the floor further. I had to fill in the entire floor with dirt to eliminate all of the water, just from a 1 block hole in the ceiling.

Actually, MC does this too. And nice work there!

Water spreads out from source blocks in MC, but removing the source block causes the rest of the water to dry up. In minetest, removing the source block causes the water to spread and create new source blocks. Really, really annoying when your underwater house gets flooded.
