Were is Minetest Game heading?
It would seem that this question is hindering development of Minetest Game, is it a base, or a complete Game?

We need both, MTGame is a moddable basic game, additional and different games have been requested to be bundled with Minetest, so get working.

The reason I'm asking is because on every Github issue I read, it comes up time and time again that MTgame doesn't have a set fate yet, and that that is hindering development.
It needs to be decided, so that MT can continue development without big, overhanging, unanswered questions.

Neither there is a full-featured game nor there is an API that allows you to mod anything.
So MT fails at both delivering a game and delivering a moddable base.
At least with the mods that are available you can eliminate the first issue. But still: The API is extremely limited in functionality and performance.
