Found some conflict with three mods: mesecons, pipeworks and locks.
If someone place shared_locked_chest and allow only pipeworks in chest interface, then another random player without permissions try to use pipeworks:filter to get item from the chest, then server crash.

It seems to someone quarry try to dig safe from mod currency.. I don't know but I can guess..
Trying to sort out the problem..

UPD: I inspect the logs and disable run_nodes(RE_nodes) in technics switching_station.lua and yeah.. some bad person place many safe on front of someone quarry..

Somehow player:is_player() is not worked here.. because player is not defined.. i not strong enough in lua, but i fixed this:

Build #20151023-1432, update infrastructure, cottages, display_blocks, homedecor, blox, plantlife, steel, unifiedbricks bobblocks, castle, bees, titanium, technic, bedrock, and locks mods. Also updated currency mod (should fix Prot's bug).

EDIT: build #20151023-1640, brought in most of the recent minetest-game commits, (re-)updated titanium, display_blocks, moreores, quartz, and glooptest.

An odd thing happened, I have been crafting and using Sandstone Panels for the past week, and just today the Sandstone Panels have disappeared from the menu and I can't find the crafting recipe. I still have Sandstone Panels on my buildings, and I can mine them with a Shovel, place them anywhere, and rotate them with the Screwdriver. I just can't seem to create any new Sandstone Panels. I was using the 20151023 build, but after this happened, I upgraded to the 20151213 build to see if it would fix the problem. The new build is still missing Sandstone Panels.

Sounds like a glitch in the moreblocks mod. Try rolling your copy of that mod back to some point before 2015-10-13 (i.e. delete your copy from dreambuilder and use the moreblocks github repository directly) and see if it helps.

The older Moreblocks didn't fix anything. However, I stumbled across the recipe for Panels so now I can at least craft them from Sandstone (or Cobblestone or Wood).

Meanwhile, build #20151218-0409, updated titanium mod and switched it to submodule.

EDIT: build #20151218-1719, removed the angled_walls mod. It's long since been obsoleted by mesh-based table saw slopes.

Hi Vanessa,

I saw you discard an OOM error as a possible memory problem.
I'm experiencing similar problems with Dreambuilder since MT 0.4.13.
Carbone (also latest from github) works fine.

The crashes occur from several modules: titanium, vines and default.
Memory used is just over 4GB of 8 GB physical memory present.
Can it have something to do with https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=13081?

If you need more info, just let me know what to send you and where to send it.

What's probably happening is some set of mods in the game are allocating more RAM than your setup is capable of actually using -- even if you have adequate RAM to support that action.

Most commonly, this happens if you're using a build that supports/uses LuaJIT, in which case MT can only use 1-2 GB of your RAM (due to limits in LuaJIT). The 'default' mod won't do that, nor will the titanium or vines mods. If you see an OOM-crash citing one of those mods, ignore what it says - it's probably false.

Unfortunately I don't have any idea what the actual cause *is*, just what it is *not*. :-)

Sounds like MT could do with an additional command line option to disable JIT.
Thanks for your directions. I'll look into building it myself.
