Singlenode?

by Kpenguin » Fri Nov 20, 2015 01:05

Hi,
I'd like to create a world from scratch with no mapgen, so I selected "singlenode" in the mapgen menu. When I entered the world, I started falling, so I gave myself privileges, enabled fly and teleported to 0,0,0. However, I couldn't place a block once I was there. I tried flying a little over 0 and then placing the block, but with no success. Please tell me how to place blocks in a singlenode world.

Thanks!

You should use worldedit mod (or similar mods) to place the first block.

The name "singlenode" is somewhat confusing. It means "the whole map is filled with one kind of node", which defaults to air.

The origin mod does what you want. It creates a indestructible node, but it is easy to change if you want to remove the node.
