You're right, maikerumine does have a lot on his plate. I just thought he would make a good server admin, that's all.

That's right, maikerumine cares about his server and does a good job. He removes griefers and tries all he can to protect buildings. He even went to the trouble of copying my house above its location so that protectors could be set correctly. That even with that much effort the protection wasn't sufficient was not his fault - the protector mod just isn't made for people who want their buildings to be easily accessible and protected at the same time (but it's sufficient for a survival server). Beeing server admin isn't an easy job. So thanks to all those out there who do it! There's a lot more work involved than issuing a few commands now and then. Taking care that the server is a good place to be on for all people can be very demanding.

You're right, admin job is really hard but the actual jut test's admin isn't yet enough good and we don't have many choice : or we pick someone who is already admin in another server like maikerumine, or we pick someone who plays since long time (like me), or we pick someone who plays many times (there are many people who play in same time). But the most important in an admin is he should be on many times (10 each day to 2 each week), who has respect and who isn't bad. Guys, do you want only one new admin like maiki's server? or 2 new admins like in Xanadu's server?

An admin who's there is certainly preferable, although it might work under some circumstances with the admin almost never beeing seen. Redcrabs server went on for a long time with admin sightings beeing an annual event. Still, there ought to be some chance to at least catch a moderator who might either solve the problem a player has or pass the information on to the server owner if needed.

Like I said before, there is no point in this search unless someone has the ability to make another person admin. Lag has that ability but he is almost never on the forums now, so he would not see our posts.

Sorry, I've explained myself poorly, the griefed area is near spawn, just behind "dye products" shop with diamonds. I think it is Dragons place.

Merry Christmas everyone! And happy new year! Not yet though. :3

So what I'm going to do this year is have a Christmas party on this amazing server! It will be behind my city house, in Baggins Village. Everyone on the server at the time of the party is invited. BUT TAKE NOTE: If you kill ANYBODY at the party, YOU WILL IMMEDIATELY BE KILLED BY ME OR ONE OF MY VOLUNTEER HELPERS. For more information on how to volunteer for my Christmas party, pm me on the forums or on just test.

By volunteer helpers, I mean people who volunteer to help ward off griefers, also helping me give out presents. Party guests feel free to give presents too! To give a present, step in front of a person and drop the item at his feet and say, "To <playername>". The receiver should pick it up immediately. If someone else takes it, he will be told to drop it. If he does not, he will be killed.

Remember not to crowd too closely, otherwise in attempt to get your present, you might hurt someone, especially if you happen to be holding a sword in your hand.

UPDATE: Christmas party has been moved to December 26, 2015 starting 3:00 PM EST. Be sure to be there some minutes before then because I will stop shouting loud announcements about the party when it starts.

First, i was tired because of those bugs, which are breaking auth.txt, with account information. Second, i had two week vacation. Third, i was busy at work. Fourth, i played another games. Fifth, looks like my laziness upgraded to next level.

2015-12-01 auth.txt was broken again, and i noticed it today. I will do long maintenance and restore auth.txt from backup(it grew almost to 10MB, wow...)

lag, if you are busy, name someone to assist you as admin (a 2nd admin) when you're not on, to tell you problems and who can do work on map (like correct griefings, kick bad players...). That's all what I wanted tell. If you want , you can accept what I told you or ignore. Just don't forget just test is a popular erver who didn't really change but who everyone loves so keep it good
