i'm back, nya~ =(^.^)=
i only wanted to take a short break, but then there were 3 big updates in Toram Online,
and so i was longer gone than planned ...
i will be staying in the Hidden Ninja Village most of the time now.
i apologize for the incovenience caused by my absence, i remember that some people wanted to apply for a building area, but i forgot who it was ...
so just use my Mailbox, or if you already did, i will visit you as soon as possible.

Notice: Xanadu is currently down due to electrical failure, we are hoping to bring server back up as soon as possible.

Thanks for the earlier info, any news on server?
(bunch of us are hanging at amhi to pass the time, currently down tho haha)

Latest: Shinji is working on building a replacement server and installing the old drive in the hope that ubuntu will boot first time and startup the server... <fingers crossed>

Jikes! That bad!

The hopeful thing is that I've done that operation many times, and it except for resetting a few 'udev' rules to get the network card renamed right, it typically works. Linux is refreshingly unlike windows in that regard and can very easily reconfigure itself.

A serialization error occured:
unsupported NodeBox version
The server is probably running a different version of Minetest.
(i also tried latest pc compile from krock 3 days ago, but no)

edit: downgrading back to original 0.4.13 fixed :/

I don't seem to have the issue on 0.4.13-stable
Servers: mt.rrhgameservers.ml = [RRH] MT-Creative (48250), RRH-Survival (48253), Unknown (48255), Minetest City (48262)
Specs = Intel Core i5-3570s 16GB DDR3 2TB HDD, Ubuntu Server 16.04.1 x64 XFCE
------------------------------------------------------------
System: Lenovo Thinkstation S30 = Intel Xeon E5-2665, 20GB DDR3 (1333MHz Non-ECC), Gigabyte GTX1060 6GB, 3.5TB Storage, Win 10 Pro x64.

#1 I just installed the roughly 1 hour old daily - works. No issues at all so far.

#2 Longer story:
Since there is an actively ongoing discussion of wiping the map, I wanted to be prepared (and hoped to be able to take the player file over...)
So stuffed all I valued into my bags... Sorry, fellow players, while I value you, you just didn't fit... ;-) Move on your own pls.

Check the numbers in this composed screenshot:

Oh and this is only what I had in chests, not what I had already used for building.

As an explanation to my inventory layout:

Bag 1 is always ores, ingots, gems and rare stuff.
Bag 2 is always lights, glass, torches, food reserves and such.
Bag 3 is multi purpose, mostly building materials, but here all I could squeeze in, and
Bag 4 is always spare tools, minecarts, books, chests etc etc.

Also the HUD bar has usually this layout, 4 tools to the right, torch, food, building stuff.

i heard it will be done with agreement of the major players.

EDIT: i downgraded from the development version to stable 4.13 and still get the "unsupported nodebox" error ...
