Create a new map and before you start a game edit the map_meta.txt file from this world. Then you have the same seed and you can visit hell's gate yourself ;-)

Mgv5 uses 3D noise so is able to form overhangs and caves from terrain only, even if cavegen is disabled.

Stairwells shouldn't be a problem. The thing I like about this one is that it's all stateless, so I don't have to concern myself with chunk boundaries.

Grassland in the morning

It might be not obvious, but there are two types of default grass with slightly different color. The brighter grass is originally the texture from VanessaE's HDX32 texture pack. I use it as grass named "Switchgrass Northwind"

Will also add some flowers

I modified stone grassland and sandstone grassland

On the left side is stone grassland. I use gneiss as stone. The dirt is clayey dirt. There grows default grass and a little bit dry grass.
On the right side is sandstone grassland. The dirt is sandy dirt and the grass texture is a little bit more yellowish. There grows default and dry grass ~50:50. Maybe I replace the default grass with a more yellowish grass

Sandstone grassland is less fertile and dryer than stone grassland, but is more fertile than savanna
