Well, Celeron's Chunky mapgen branch has these lines, possibly indicating that we are now using the chunky mapgen.
And this was the last commit to that branch. I think Celeron is not telling us something.

Download http://sfan.sf.funpic.de/random/mudflow.patch and open the Terminal.
Go to your Minetest Source Folder and type "patch -p1 < /path/to/mudflow.patch"
Recompile and it's fixed
