hey,

I think I messed things up with teleporting tubes ... seems to have killed the server. I should have started sending items in stacks. I'm sorry for that and will be more careful in future :-/

Do not worry :) it's not you to blame but me, uploading a lua file containing a syntax error
which left the server in a crash loop.

But server is running again, and the error is fixed :)

After playing around a bit with Wuzzy's player effects Api:

finally I added a bit to the farming_food mod. And there it is:

Drinking a hot cup of coffee made from our Sumatran Coffee Beans
will double your moving speed for 10 seconds.

This works already very well but is still a bit WIP. So any suggestions
or comments about duration or maybe other effects please leave here
or ingame.

Today I added numbers and a bunch of special characters to the
letters mod from Amaz1: https://github.com/Amaz1/letters
Use the lower_case letter machine for these.


Also new: there is an easteregg about all that useless weed on your
farming land :)

It works now like the mesecon button.

The Harvester ! and a Public Mine

added this morning harvesting functionality to the chainsaw:

use it on:

    tomato
    chilli
    garlic
    soy_plant
    wheat
    cotton

use it together with vacuuming pipes to collect the drops. Scarecrows scare away the weed in
a radius of 4 nodes and keep your fields clean until you reseed.

Unfortunately there had been griefing issues with chainsaw and our jungles. That is why there
is a new priv called "lumberjack". So sorry but chainsaws will only be available to trusted players.


Also new is a is a Public Mine available from transit area in spawn.

Public building Area with protector blocks

New in Jungle is the public building land where you can use protector blocks to secure
your buildings by yourself.

Protector mod is from TenPlus1 viewtopic.php?f=11&t=9376
modified by me to work only in the desired area or with the "doityourself" priv.
doors, trapdoors and chests are disabled.

To find building area go to spawn and use travelnet in the transit area.
Coordinates of building site are from -2695,y,4154 to -3617,y,2871
Outside this area protector blocks will only be available to players with the "doityourself" priv
which will only be granted to trusted players on request.

Hi Naj,

that is what i meant with the "doityourself" priv.
With this priv you can place protector blocks anywhere in the world.

You want it ? :)

lol Naj, you got the priv now.

about areas priv I will see what I can do about that. I have to look in the code first what can be done and what
I want to be done :)

Mobs Redo

Yesterday switched the mob system to the newer MobsRedo from TenPlus1:

Mobs will only spawn in the hunting area available with T-Net from spawn.
Coordinates are from 1110,y,-3504 to 2837,y,-4919
In that area big buildings are prohibited. But you may setup a small hunting shack
if you like.

today added "Hot Chilly Meat Burgers" to our food collection. Giving 8 Hungerpoints
also there is a strong Tea and a strange smoking device available.

The hunting goes on :

This is for testing and weapons can only be used in hunting area.
For the beginning try javelins and shurikens. More weapons to come ...
[EDIT] Added sniper rifle and pumpgun. Ammo you'll find in LC for sale.

Dragons:

These creatures you will find in "Dragon's Lair" available from spawn.
They drop 5-15 diamonds when killed. But be prepared they are fast and strong.

I tried to play on this server when I first got MineTest(a few months ago),but It didn't load correctly(maybe because of a player amount limit,I forgot the actual reason,but maybe because of that). I may try to join again soon.

Also I think a post said that old MobF is removed.Aren't the clownfish&bluewhite fish mobs in that mod? Is it in the replaced equivalents of that mod? I'm just curious. :)

Hi BlueTangs Rock,


first time load of the server might take a bit due to our many mods. If it did not start correctly just try it again. Usuallly
our server has always some free slots for players.

Yes clownfish and bluewhite were part of the MobF. But they are also part of the Watercritters mod which is compatible to the mobsredo from Tenplus1. They are still here on the server :)

Also I know that certain blocks and other stuff says things in chat,and it appears as spamming,and I was almost banned from a server because of me accidentally clicking on a chat interactive block to much due to some lagging when I clicked it two times. Is there any way of not having that kind of messages in chat,to prevent accidental bans? I actually want to stay in this server!

You should ask that the owner of that server. On my server I do not use such blocks.
Usually chat messages from nodes/items are only send to the player not to the whole chat.
