Is this game legal?
Hey guys! I recently found Minetest, and am very happy I did. I really enjoy Minecraft but do not want to pay $30+ for it. I love playing Minetest on my netbook, but am worried it could be illegal due to the fact it (may) uses textures from Minecraft. Can anyone answer this (truthfully) for me? I do not want to keep it on my computer if it is illegal. Thanks in advance! :D
All default textures used in Minetest are developed specifically for it; if anything comes from Minecraft, it'll be something not sanctioned by the Minetest developers, as part of some third-party texture pack or in a mod of one sort or another.

Thanks for the answers guys! I have not played Minecraft in detail, so not really paying attention to the textures made me uncertain. This does answer my question. Thanks again! :D
