However, if you're technically inclined or willing to learn some basic linux commandline stuff, I recommend getting a Digital Ocean account and use their smallest Virtual Private Server (VPS) configuration. You then get a linux based virtual machine onto which you may install and run Minetest as a server and any mods you'd like. Note that you have to set it up manually.
As a new user you may use the credit code heresthething to add $10 to your account. That essentially gives you two months free.

You stated that $40 was too much, I figured you've realized you can't have such server for free anyway. $5 a month after two free months is not much between a few friends.
40$ for a minetestserver is in any way way too much. horrible that people think this is a realistic price.

Well..., maybe you could try to work out something with a friendly neighbor or maybe family members, where you take on a chore for the $ to do some low end server acct? (just a suggestion, and I do realize not everyone is in a position to do any of those things)
At 11yo my friends and I used to go around shoveling driveways, mowing lawns, cleaning up people's yards for some quick $... needless to say we definitely short changed ourselves but hey... we were kids and to us $10 was like $100 :D
What german hoster?

This would match a dedicated rootserver with around 24gig ram somewhere else.
Beside, this "coming soon" is there since months yet.
texmex wrote:Sorry if I assumed your economical ability Sires, I have no idea how much $5 is in real price where you live. If you have the time and ability you could always have a friend sign up for a new DO account after each two months and migrate the server to a new one.
Sires wrote:Hello, I want so much a free server 24 hours with mods(maybe subgames), I saw in the minetesthosting that I can do that only with a 40 dollars plan '-' I'm a 12 years teenager, its so hard pay that. I just want in the max 10 players or 5 and the option to upload mods and subgames, maybe if I can only 12 hours(no one will play 3 am lol), is there any free plan for that ?
cmake . -DRUN_IN_PLACE=0 -DBUILD_SERVER=1 -DENABLE_LUAJIT=1 -DENABLE_GETTEXT=1 -DENABLE_FREETYPE=1 -DENABLE_LEVELDB=1

Internet service about $40/month just for the server itself. About $25 extra per month for electricity used by the hardware during times that it normally would not be operating. So approximately $65 USD per month to run the server.

* Find an existing server that runs (most of) the stuff you want
** maybe ask an admin of such a server to add your favorite mod
