[0.03]TNT improved explosions[tnt]

Hello all
This is my attempt to make a TNT mod with improved explosions at hopefully a very low cost

Basically, what I did was to replace the default smoke texture with a 1x1 semi transparent texture and spawn loads of that. I plan improve this as ideas come, so please PLEASE give me ideas. :) I also plan to add more such as maybe better fireball and sound. This mod probably isn't going to become a standard; it's more like a demo. What I hope for more is that it will inspire the devs of the main TNT mod.

Nice change to the TNT explosion effect.
Hope something like this eventually becomes the default smoke effect.

Thank you very much.
However I am not yet fully satisfied with it. As you can see, the smoke cloud does not fully cover the crater. I want something that fully covers the hole while looking just as puffy. Increasing particle amount appearantly doesn't help(?).
I also want the brief flash of the fireball, which I still don't have, as I don't know how to scale up tnt_boom and make the flash illuminate well enough. Any help is appreciated.

0.03 has been released!
Bigger and thicker smoke cloud. Very satisfactory!
Don't worry also, it won't lag :)

P.S. Can anybody suggest a good sound/sounds? The default sound is too drawn out, robotic and annoying.

If the purpose is to inspire change in the tnt mod, why not make the changes yourself (since you are doing in this mod anyway) and make a pull request? If you are unsure whether people want a feature, you can open an issue for it before implementing it.

I don't know much about github, and also I recommend you look at the code to see why I can't make a pull request with this mod. I will have to change it before I can ever make a pull request. I have messed with the api so that this explosion only appears on the default radius. I plan to change it so I can make such a request. Meanwhile, about github.........................

I'm just saying if that your goal is to produce change in the tnt mod, you might as well go through the more direct channel of contributing changes to the mod. So instead of making a new mod, you would just start with a fork of minetest_game and modify the tnt mod there.

Thank you. Actually I wanted at first to make a separate mod but I decided on the demo instead. But I still intend to make a pull request after cleaning the code up.

Oh! Make a kamikaze TNT XD. The sound for that TNT will be the sound of a plane flying from the sky and crashing into the ground. Make it with mese (cuz planes need mese engines)
