Server updated with latest git (17/06/2012)
I guess you need the latest client aswell (protocol version has changed)

i have no clue. redcrab, its telling me that i have protocol version 10 and the server needs 11. idk how to fix this

its most likely within the game maybe we download something else but i dont see any new updates on sites yet

The version: 0.4.dev-20120606 is the same, the git is different (celeron22-minetest-4b2cc38 is now celeron-minetest-c57e508) It works. I've Lubuntu (LInux) and compile it with the readme.txt that you can find under 'minetest.net under the Github tab. There are instructions how to compile for windows, but I don't use/understand those.

Just try to download/install minetest the way you did it the first time.

If you install minetest, compiled by others (u then used launchpad with Linux), wait till they update it, or compile Minetest yourself. If you go to www.minetest.net You see a tab 'Github'. If you click that tab and scroll down, you see a readme.txt. Follow the instructions. I never tried windows, because I didn't need to. Linux works as long as you copy and paste.

For those who can't access this server anymore .. You need the latest minetest client to reach the server:

. Get latest binaries for your platform (if binaries is resulted of latest source code compilation)
. Or get latest source code and compile it.

from your graphical linux environment open a terminal then ...

Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.

Local compilation will works if your environment has all necessary compilation and library packages already installed
