a few other things, I'll update the first post eventually...

The world and player profiles were all transfered over and should be exactly the same.

It's good to post new messages about new mods, but I tend to just look at the first post to see what mods have been installed.

Also, love the Cisoun's texturepack. I would recommend keeping all of it except maybe using just the cobble from the soartex texture pack. That is the most phenomenal texture for any node I have ever seen. The rest of the textures in soartex aren't as good as cisoun's. Treebark from Soartex is ok. But Soartex dirt, grass, planks, and water are lousy. Maybe some of the tools, pickaxes etc might be worth a look. Cisoun's dirt and torches rock!

xslabs? I can't find that, could you post a link? And madblocks is a huuuge collection of stuff, I don't really want to install all of it. I could try to split some parts of it out to use, though.

Looks like mauvebic is doing this for you. He's been splitting Madblocks up into smaller mods. What parts do you want out, and what do you want to keep? He might help you out here.

Who made the "elevator to hell" tunnel right in front of the spawn entrance? It's kind of annoying, I might move the entrance to the arena tunnel.

Uh, nothing? The server must have locked up. The cpu usage jumped, probably my trip down to the Void did that...

I'm waiting for the cpu usage to go down so I can quit it. I could just kill and restart, but I'm afraid of corrupting the world.

Ok, server's back up. Don't go to the Void, the server can't handle it. Oh, and mesecons aren't going to be removed, the server crashes without them.

That's the scary part about mods, once you add them to a world, it often becomes impossible to remove them. When I added Madblocks with seasons, it changed all the grass nodes, then when I took it out due to it causing problems with other mods, everything said unknown block. I'm guessing if you tried to remove just about any mod, best case you get unknown blocks everywhere. Worst case you get server crashes. As an example I think we might be stuck with conifers despite them not doing decent leaf decay. I do like how they look though.

Maybe make it so that at least conifers burn, if nothing else? That way we can go on a conifer genocide.

Menche,

A lot of the new people are not starting out with coins. Jon98000, bacon, Rosie, and I don't know how many others are not getting coins when they start out. Have you intentionally stopped giving out coins on start?

I think if I remove conifers, there would just be a bunch of uknown blocks and items. I think mesecons left an entity that minetest didn't know what to do with, probably an extended piston.
