Setting Up Administrator
Okay so I have compiled my Minetest on Linux, I have a server up and running. And I think before I remember what it was. But I must have forgotten and can not re-find where I need to go to configure the Administration settings for my server. I need to set myself up as the admin. But I do not know how to do it. Can somebody please help me out here? Minetest release: celeron55-minetest-02fb912
In the server's minetest.conf, put your name in the "name" field. Then, you will have all privileges. See /help for a command list.

How can I set up the basic privilages people start with? I thought I saw something on that but not quite sure where it was.

That is the default_privs setting. On my server I have it set to interact, shout, fast, so players can break/place blocks (interact), use chat (shout), and run (fast).
