can someone customize minetest 0.1 or 0.2 with more blocks?

I Love how smooth minetest 0.1 & 0.2 run can someone customize it with stairs and mods and stuff and compile it

And upload it so I can download it and play it and run a server for it.
im going to bring minetest 0.1 or 0.2 back to life

one time minmize minetest and then build in more stuff..... thats confusing, cause i dont get it...

You can add content to older versions, but you have to modify the C++ source to do so, then recompile. That "modding" is server-side, but the item/node "definitions" and textures are not sent to the client, so clients have to be modified aswell.
