Max is actually being a smart griefer.

Suppose Max is successful with his griefing, and Menche gets fed up with the nonsense and shuts down his server. OR Max could say, you know I really was a jerk, and maybe I've got a beef with you Menche, but let's bury the hatchet and move on and start contributing to the Minetest community again. That would be something that Max could look back on and say he did the right thing. That would take guts, and would actually earn my respect.

I am not trying to ''ruin my reputation'', and I am not ''attacking'' anyone else's servers. I still am part of the community, but when I find an exploit in Menche's server(s) I take advantage of it to make people there more-angry. Menche will never stop running his server, unless it is physically ruined, like what happened to Bcnjr5's server.
I don't really care anymore, this server has always been boring, and hurts my eyes too much. I would rather help with ecube's server.

Makes sense to me. As for the rest, just let it go. Focus on helping ecube or whoever. The installer is really helpful. Making Minetest easy to use is the way to go to allow it to reach the broadest audience.

I think that's my fault, sorry. Sometime last week fire got temporarily re-added and a it seems a lot of buildings have flammable materials near lava.

Server is frozen, I don't know for how long; I ran /clearobjects, it quickly filled up my 1GB of memory and is swapping like mad right now.

EDIT: Nevermind, it almost filled up all my swap too so I killed it. Server is functional again. I'll try that command again when I have more swap.

Menche, what is the filename of the door texture that appears in the game world? It oughta read something like xdoors_door_wood.png I'm trying to make a texture pack more compatible with the server and all its mods.

I think xdoors rely's on default_wood.png

Yeah he must have, that changes the inventory thumbnail but not the door itself that functions in the game world.

...? It has been up, are you referring to how it has been quite lonely lately?

Right now, it is down. Today I have been having problems with the server crashing on login. I made a post in Bugs and Problems if you think you can try to figure it out.

Also it seems to be quite easy to get the server to lag horribly lately, in the next few days I plan on moving the map to a usb stick and upgrading to 0.4.2.

You could just post it, if you don't want to do that I'll use the email you used for the forum. The server is currently down; I might have to reset if I can't figure out the weird crashes, and I'm planning on updating it later. Anyways, it should be up and stable again somehow in a day or two, I'll add your username and email you when it is.
