It sounds to me that there might be a directory problem. At what directory did you put init.lua?
We must be careful not to clone Notches mistakes.

You probably didn't place it the right way; your Minetest folder structure should look like this:
Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.
Code: Select all
bin/
builtin/
...
games/
mods/
- minetest/
-- stairsplus/
--- textures/
--- depends.txt
--- init.lua

Close Minetest.
Make a new debug.txt.
Start minetest.
You get the error.
Close Minetest.
Open debug.txt.
Scroll down.
Work your way up to the "ERRORS".
Copy those lines.
Paste them here on the forum.

It also helps to tell:
- which version you play? And don't say 4.0.dev-2012603. Start a working game and look left/top of your screen.
- your operating system (windows/Linux)
- if you compiled it yourself

the mod will only work if it is called "init.lua", and if it is in the directory "/mods/minetest/stairsplus".

Aside from that, well, then you actually have no problem and are just trolling in the bugs section.
Meow.

That is all.
